Dellinger Enterprises is a family-owned and operated machining and fabrication company with over 28 years in operation. We specialize in light sheet metal processing and welding (1/2" and thinner) as well as CNC machining and turning of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

We are located in Belmont, North Carolina — approximately 20 miles from Charlotte.

Why Laser Processing?

Our operation is centered on laser cutting. Laser cutting is unique from other sheet metal processing operations in that it does not use hard tooling to process parts as in stamping or turret punch processing. Because of this, laser cutting is an attractive alternative to these processes for low to mid-volume production (up to 10,000 EAU) as we do not have a tooling charge for hard tooling as required by other processes.

Laser processing is ideal for prototype parts because it provide for a cheaper cost of prototyping as well as the ability to change designs without the need to consider hard tooling impact or delivery times. Laser processing is also attractive because the process does not mar cosmetic finishes (such as polished stainless) and provides for a burr-free edge that is essential to parts that will be handled.

Investment in Technology

We have invested in automated processes with an eye toward the future and lean manufacturing. We have two automated laser cutting cells with lights-out capability as well as a robotic welding cell with modular fixturing. This equipment allows increased output with reduced operating costs.

We use job control software and computer terminals throughout our facilities to manage jobs from quote to invoice. This allows us to accurately estimate job costing, automate order entry, give accurate job status, and provide full shipping and tracking information to multiple plant locations. Our employees have access to drawings, pictures, and quality-related documents at the workstation terminal as well as data collection and job control.
